Charles E. Wisell secures settlement for $5 million dollars during a jury trial on May 7, 2019 for our construction worker client

Our client is a 27-year old construction worker injured while working on a scaffold. The property owner violated New York’s Labor Law since it did not provide the workers with a safe scaffold. While working at a 20-foot height, our client fell due to the owner’s violations of the Labor Law.

Our Lipsig client suffered a right ankle fracture and left knee injury. His ankle fracture required open surgery and his left knee needed an arthroscopic surgery. After the trial was underway, Lipsig partner Charles Wisell was able to secure a settlement of $5,000,000 for our client.

We hope this settlement helps our client replace his lost wages, pays for his medical care and helps with his pain and suffering. While money cannot restore him to his pre-fall condition, it gives him the financial security he will need for the rest of his life.
