Brooklyn Car Accidents Statistics

Of the 3,171 car accidents in Brooklyn, 1,228 incidents resulted in injuries and deaths. 626 motorists were injured, and four were killed. 527 passengers were injured. 258 pedestrians were injured, and five were killed. 193 cyclists were injured, and two were killed.

Queens Car Accident Statistics

Of the 2,833 car accidents in Queens, 1,059 cases lead to injuries and fatalities. 650 motorists were injured, and two were killed. 456 passengers were injured, and two were killed. 189 pedestrians were injured, and two were killed. 107 cyclists were injured.

Bronx Car Accident Statistics

Of the 1,761 car accidents in the Bronx, 650 incidents caused injuries and deaths. 409 motorists were injured, and one was killed. 296 passengers were injured, and three were killed. 136 pedestrians were injured, and two were killed. 61 cyclists were injured.

Manhattan Car Accident Statistics

Of the 1,720 car crashes in Manhattan, 657 accidents led to injuries and fatalities. 286 motorists were injured, and one was killed. 196 passengers were injured. 162 pedestrians were injured, and two were killed. 196 cyclists were injured.

Staten Island Car Accident Statistics

Of the 497 car accidents in Staten Island, 156 incidents resulted in injuries and deaths. 132 motorists, 45 passengers, 27 pedestrians, and 10 cyclists were injured. One pedestrian was killed.

  8. Disregarding traffic control devices – 305 cases
  9. Inexperienced drivers – 241 cases
  10.  Unsafe or improper lane changes – 234 cases
