Timothy Russell Jr Killed In Fatal Accident While Working On Ford F-250 Pickup Truck In Pleasant Valley; Vehicle That Rolled Over Victim May Have Been Part of a Recall
PLEASANT VALLEY, NEW YORK (January 3, 2018) – A 36-year-old man was tragically killed in an accident after the Ford F-250 pickup truck that he was working underneath suddenly rolled backwards onto him.
Pleasant Valley police have been able to identify the man that died in the accident after being run over as Timothy Russell Jr.
Dutchess County officials were called to the scene of the accident after learning that the victim’s truck rolled over him.
Firefighters and paramedics attempted to save the victim, but Timothy Russell Jr was later pronounced dead. An investigation into the fatal accident remains ongoing.
However, according to Reuters News, 52,000 Ford-250 Pickup Trucks have been recalled in the United States because the vehicles could inadvertently roll backwards after being put into park.
