When a company creates a product the causes an accident or injuries, they may be held liable. A car company may be negligent in a vehicle’s (1) design, (2) manufacturing and (3) marketing. For example, an inherent design flaw may cause a vehicle to roll backwards inadvertently or to accelerate unexpectedly.
