John Farino Identified As Victim That Died In Fatal Hit And Run Accident With Semi Truck On New Jersey Freeway; Truck Driver Involved In Car Accident Still Being Sought
WESTAMPTON TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY (January 21, 2018) – A 60-year-old man was tragically killed in a hit and run semi truck accident on the I-295 freeway.
Police have been able to identify the man that died in the fatal big rig collision as John Farino.
Authorities are saying that John Farino was driving a Dodge Caravan when he was rear-ended by a Peterbilt tractor-trailer truck on the 295 highway. The car that the victim was driving was pushed off the road where it overturned and hit a tree.
By the time police arrived at the scene of the truck accident, the driver of the big rig was nowhere to be found. Authorities are still attempting to locate the truck involved in the collision.
John Farino was pronounced dead at the scene of the fatal hit and run truck accident. An investigation remains ongoing.
