LIABILITY IN CONSTRUCTION ACCIDENTS WITH FALLING OBJECTS

Construction workers will typically be able to file a claim for worker’s compensation if they are injured on the job. In addition to worker’s compensation an injured worker may be able to file a claim under New York Labor Law 240(1) if they are hit by a falling object.
