Student at Pulaski Street Elementary School Critically Injured In Car Accident As He Was Attempting to Cross The Street
RIVERHEAD, NEW YORK (March 10, 2018) – A 13-year-old boy and student at Pulaski Street Elementary School was seriously injured in a car accident as he was walking to school.
The boy was hit as he was trying to cross Osborne Avenue. No charges have been filed.
Firefighters and Riverhead police arrived at the scene of the car accident in order to help the victim. He was originally transported to the Peconic Bay Medical Center and later flown to the Stony Brook University Hospital.
The vehicle involved in the crash was later impounded for a safety check.
