LIABILITY IN FORKLIFT ACCIDENTS
Construction sites can be incredibly dangerous places. And forklifts pose a number of unique hazards. Though they are normally slow, they are also top heavy and prone to tipping over. Occasionally, the brakes on a forklift might give out under stress or they may inadvertently roll backwards. When a person is injured or killed due to a design defect with the forklift, the manufacturer may be liable. Any victim or their family may be able file a products liability suit against the negligent company.
