Katy Beal-Lefavre Injured After Being Hit From Falling Debris In Scaffold Accident Outside 56 Broadway Holding LLC In Soho Region of Manhattan
MANHATTAN, NEW YORK (December 23, 2017) – A former model was seriously injured in a scaffold collapse in the Soho region of lower Manhattan after being hit by falling metal sheets and and beams during high winds.
Authorities have been able to identify the woman that was injured in the scaffolding collapse as Katy Beal-Lefavre.
Manhattan police are saying that at least 5 other people were injured in the scaffolding accident outside 56 Broadway Holding LLC.
Katy Beal-Lefavre sustained head injuries and fractures to her spine in the scaffold accident.
Firefighters and paramedics rushed to the scene of the scaffold collapse in order to rescue Katy Lefavre from the rubble.
She was rushed to the hospital in order to receive treatment for her injuries. There is an ongoing investigation into the construction accident in Soho.
