Construction Worker Injured In Accident On The Portageville Bridge After He Was Hit By A Piece Of Wood That Fell
LETCHWORTH STATE PARK, NEW YORK (February 28, 2018) – A construction worker on the Portageville Bridge was injured after he was hit by a piece of wood while working a railroad trestle.
Authorities at Letchworth State Park are saying that the man may have broken his leg. The worker is being described as a subcontractor for the American Bridge Company.
An investigation into the accident that injured the construction worker remains ongoing at this time.
It remains unclear how the piece of wood came loose.
