LIABILITY IN TRUCK ACCIDENTS
Truck drivers have a responsibility to drive according to the prevailing conditions of the road and keep a watchful eye out for other drivers. Unfortunately, truck drivers are often forced to work long and exhausting hours even beyond what is allowed by law. Fatigue continues to play a role in a number of truck accidents every year. When a truck driver causes an accident through their own negligence, thier employer may be vicariously liable. Companies are typically responsible for the actions of their employees when those employees are working within the course and scope of their jobs.
